"For a third year in a roe the Association of BLUEZZ FEST will please and cheer up the fans of blues and jazz by the already famous and popular BlueZZ fest. This music event is number one for our town for the next week and will take part on two serial nights – 30th of June and 1st of July, in the Summer theatre, and in case of bad weather – in the municipal Plenary Hall. The organizers presented again this year a list of significant performers, who will take part – Mariana Popova, Angel Zaberski, Ivan Lechev, the famous band from Plovdiv White, Green, Red, the Burgas band of Siluet. Also, on the scene will play the artists from Galileo, from Sofia, and the guests from Macedonia, Tavitian Brothers. The BlueZZ Fest is a spontaneous civic initiative, which means that our town needs it. The aim of the association is to invite bands that are not so popular but are on a high level and are worth listening to. The Association has put in front a substantial goal – to establish an international blues festival in Rousse – a small Bulgarian Montreux, which to present performers and bands that represent both blues branches – jazzmen and rock musicians. The people behind the Association are Angel Mitev, Nikolai Handjiev, Daniel Djumaliiski, Julien Taushanov, Stefan Koradov, Georgi Popov, Dragomir Kochanov, and Julian Jordanov. The fest wouldn’t be possible without these people as well as the moral support of Teodosii Spasov, Angel Zaberski-junior, Petar Salchev and other musicians."
Cultural and information guide of Rousse, “The Week”

Galileo from Sofia and Siluet from Burgas will perform the next night, demonstrating long experience, got in Scandinavia. The band Rousse Sofia Rock-Jazz bluess Band is specially formed fro the fest: Staiko Staikov (bass), Angel Zaberski (piano), Mitko Semov (percussions), Ivan Lechev (guitar, violin), the brass-section, Misho Iosifov (trumpet) and Velislav Stoianov (trombone)."

BLUEZZ FEST Burgas 2005

"The sea gathered fans of blues, rock and jazz from 19th till 21st of August in front of a stage, placed in the middle of the dried up lake in the Sea garden – a place, chosen for the happening by the organizers – the national Association BlueZZ Fest", with the financial support of the Municipality of Burgas."
Desislava Georgieva, Sea Trud Burgas newspaper

"The reborn blues festival was under the sign of rock and jazz. The trend was felt distinctively on the first night, when Alexandrov Ragtime Band, the rock band Gras and the jazz duo Dimitar Rusev-Maria Arnaudova performed on the stage. The eclecticism kept in front of the stage about 200 people, who came to sink into intoxicating blues."
Dimitar Ruskov, 24 Hours Local newspaper

"Sunrise" represented their new musical project "Access for all ", playing on the Saturday night together with the brass-section: Misho Iosifov - trombone, Vili Tsankov - trombone and Vasko Enchev – saxophone. Desislava Georgieva, Sea Trud Burgas newspaper

"This time we wanted to change the form in order to get something different. And also, different professionals to be heard and seen. In fact, I think the only ones, who have taken part in the earlier fest’s editions, are me and Georgi Marholev, Plamen Stavrev confined. He himself presented one of the feast’s surprises, singing on the stage accompanied by a striking orchestra – Georgi Borisov Big Band."
Veselin Tomov, Black sea lighthouse newspaper

BLUEZZ FEST Rousse 2005

"The ambitious BlueZZ Fest stood the turbulent winds of showbiz and went on with a second edition of the feast on July 1st and 2nd. Blues and jazz fused waters in Rousse, where Bulgarian aces and weighty foreigners performed. The promising improvisor of the English guitar jazz, Phil Robinson, and the Irish, Christine Tobin, nominated for BBC 2004 best jazz voice sounded in combination of jazz, blues, soul and folklore motifs. Bulgarian musicians answered with dignity to the foreign participance of the Romanian Teodora Enache, the Hungarian Laslo Foldish and the Macedonians Toni Kitanovski – guitar and Gish – vocal and percussions. Teodosi Spasov, Plamen Stavrev, Hilda Kazasian, Georgi Marholev took part with their own projects."
Ivailo Kitsov, Paraleli magazine

"The second edition of Bluezz Fest in Rousse turned into festival of performers, who adore blues and folklore. Elite musicians from five countries met with the Rousse audience. The mood reached its highest grade, when Sunrise & Dirty Purchase Brass with guitarist and vocalist Georgi Marholev got on the stage."
Gergana Dimitrova, Utro newspaper

"The ambassador of Great Britain, Jeremy Hall, opened the second edition of the Bluezz Fest, which started on Friday night at the Summer theatre. Before the numerous audiences, on the stage came out Bovi Rusev and Marina, the British performers Philip Robson – guitar and Christine Tobin – vocals that came specially for the fest. Real furore produced the Jazz-studio Rousse and the Romanian vocalist Teodora Enache and unexpextedly they were accompanied by the kaval player Teodosi Spasov."

BLUEZZ FEST Rousse 2004

"It is quite clever to invite jazzmen to a blues party, people, who raise their hat to mother Mississippi, and to expect them to entertain the audience and themselves in 12 times and three chords. And even in rock n’ roll measure. Or with slow blues and fast drinks."
Ivailo Kitsov, Paraleli magazine

"With “Blues in 9/8” Milcho Leviev opened on Friday night the first edition of Bluezz Fest Rousse 2004. Hundreds of Rousse citizens at various age filled the Plenary hall, where the feast took part. "At last the festival, alternative of March Music days is born, ejaculated later the kaval player Teodosi Spasov."
Valentina Karadjova, Briag newspaper

"The roganizers of Bluezz Fest Association’s idea is to establish a national forum not only of jazz but also of the close music genres like rock and blues."
Valentina Karadjova, Briag newspaper

"The first edition of Rousse BlueZZ Fest, which turned into international by the participation of the Macedonian band "Bankrut Blues Band", was a real triumph for the fans of jazz, blues and rock. The idea of the organizers from BlueZZ Fest organization is to show for the first time in Bulgaria the various branches of blues and this idea was accepted enthusiastically by the Rousse audience, who is longing for the festivals of former times. The audience outside was welcomed by the Brass and traditionally, the opening was assigned to the host band "Index", solo performers of it were the Rousse saxophonist Bobi Rusev and the trumpet player Vencislav Blagoev. The second night started with powerful rock out of the instruments of “Stari mucuni", accompanied later by Vili Kavaldjiev. Hits like “Beer, sex and rock n’ roll " and "The rock n’ roll was young" leaded the audience to exalted applauses".
Gergana Dimitrova, Utro newspaper

"The last in this night’s programme were the Macedonians from “Bankrut Blues Band". Their black suits should remind the legend that the true bluesman obligatory meets the devil, who, formal as funeral agent, offers him extraordinary mastery against his soul."
