The Blues Traffic Band was formed in 1997 and its current members are: Miron (bass), Bojidar Banov - Porto (guitar and vocals), Krasimir Tabakov (guital and vocals) and Nikolay Tabakov (drums). The band's style is orientated towards electric blues and blues rock. The strong influence of the icons of the Texas blues and of the rock music of the 70's manifest themselves in what became the band's trademark - guitar improvisations and expressive rhythm section. Their repertoire includes, apart from the "compulsory" covers, many original tracks. Blues Traffic's performances are mainly in clubs. Their unforgettable gigs include The Blues Fest in 1998 and 1999, The Rock in Rila Fests, the First Mindya Rock Fest 2009, organized by Prof. Evgeniy Daynov. The "Trafficants" play live sessions in the prgramme of Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television. Blues Traffic released the single "Morning", recorded at Factor studio, and later filmed a video at club "Puzzle" in Plovdiv. Before their performance at the Seventh BlueZZFest the band performed at the Flower for Gosho festival in Sofia and they also have a gig this week in Veliko Turnovo at club Melon. www.bluestraffic.com
